“Like singers such as Joe Elliot, Freddie Mercury, Ronnie James Dio, Rob Halford, and many others, Bruce is known for a tenor (high range) singing voice. Dickinson, always noted for his broad range as a singer in comparison to other Iron Maiden front-men, was nicknamed, “The Air Raid Siren,”[5] for much of the 1980s. In the early 1990s he altered his singing style, becoming more guttural and raw presumably to fit the stripped-down rock sound of albums like No Prayer for the Dying and Fear of the Dark. After leaving Iron Maiden, he varied his singing style, from the theatrical style of “Tears of the Dragon,” to the raw bluesy style of “Inertia.”

Since returning to Iron Maiden, Dickinson has experimented with his voice, adopting a soft reflective sound for songs such as “Journeyman, ” and “For the Greater Good of God,” a raw rock style for songs like “Wildest Dreams,” and a style much like Genesis era Peter Gabriel on “The Legacy”. However, he mostly uses the high-pitched, melodic vocals that he used in the 1980s.” [Wikipedia]

Asa ca: Burce Dickinson – Tears of the dragon live, pentru ca poate, la Sao Paulo, Brazil. Enjoy.
